Sharsheret Pink Shabbat

The Hillel at University of Pennsylvania is hosting a Sharsheret Pink Shabbat to raise awareness about Sharsheret and breast cancer in the Jewish community.  Students are encouraged to wear pink, will eat together Friday night in the pink decorated dining hall, with a  pink dessert reception followed by a meaningful program.  Sharsheret, volunteer Deena Kobell will be sharing her personal story, and will be joined by other students, and medical professionals.   The awareness activities continue the next day with group sessions  led by a select group of students who have experience with breast cancer in their lives.
