Join Award-Winning Team Sharsheret At NYC Breast Cancer Race

Teaneck, New Jersey (August 5, 2009) – Sharsheret, a national not-for-profit organization supporting Jewish women facing breast cancer, will join thousands in New York City’s Central Park to participate in the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure, Sunday, September 13th. Last year, more than 700 women, men, and children joined Sharsheret making Team Sharsheret the largest team at the Race, for the third consecutive year!

Each year, as goodwill partners in the fight against breast cancer, dozens of companies and families support Sharsheret’s breast cancer programs with generous Team sponsorships. “Sharsheret is thriving because of the continued dedication and commitment of so many strong supporters, both locally and nationally,” said Director of Operations Elana Silber. “We are deeply appreciative for all the Team members and Team sponsors who come out in full force on Race Day and enable us to provide vital support every day to all Jewish women and families facing breast cancer.”

Join Team Sharsheret NYC today and help build an award-winning Team for the 4th time! Visit www.komennyc.org and register to join Team Sharsheret. Team Sharsheret will meet on Sunday, September 13th at 8:30 a.m. on the northeast corner of 74th Street and Central Park West in New York City.
