Ellen Kleinhaus, EdM, MA

Ellen Kleinhaus, EdM, MA, Director of National Outreach, oversees Sharsheret’s national programs and outreach efforts. She launched and manages the Sharsheret on Campus program, including Sharsheret Pink Day, began and leads Team Sharsheret, directs Men’s Health Awareness initiatives, and guides Sharsheret’s YAD: Young Adult Caring Corner. Ellen continues to lead and supervise the growth of these and many other national programs.

As Director, she leads educational programs including partnership development and fundraising with the additional responsibility of expansion in the Northeast. Through partnership with staff, volunteers, medical centers, healthcare organizations, corporations, Jewish organizations, synagogues, and schools, she works to raise awareness within the Jewish and greater community about breast and ovarian cancer, and those at elevated risks for hereditary cancers.

Ellen received her EdM, MA in organizational psychology and counseling psychology from Columbia University’s Teachers College and a BS from Binghamton University.

She is also a sister of Alpha Epsilon Phi, Phi Mu Chapter ‘89.
