Keren Ehrenfeld

Life took an unexpected turn when Keren received a call with the devastating diagnosis of breast cancer in January of 2023, just a year after her mother had passed away. Despite the fear and uncertainty that loomed ahead, she resolved to confront the disease with unwavering courage and resilience, choosing to aggressively pursue a double mastectomy. Sharsheret’s staff, educational resources and peer support network armed Keren with the much-needed information to make an informed decision. It’s through her personal experience that Keren understood the importance of a strong support system and felt compelled to dedicate her time to helping other women facing similar challenges.

Keren has become an active Sharsheret volunteer and has been a broader advocate to fight cancer of all kinds, including co-chairing events such as the JCC’s Breast and Ovarian Cancer Wellness Initiative. Her dedication to fighting this disease dates back to her childhood, when she participated in and raised funds annually for the Terry Fox Run for Cancer Research. She now carries on that tradition with her husband, Ziv, and two boys, Ethan and Daniel, every year.  She credits her loving and supportive family for helping her maintain her positive outlook every step of the way.

Keren is a finance professional with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. She served as managing director and head of Morgan Stanley’s Investment Grade Healthcare Practice in their Global Capital Markets division, helping many large pharma and life sciences organizations raise the capital they need to continue to fight disease. With a passion for wellbeing in the workplace, she also spearheaded many employee talent retention initiatives and served on Morgan Stanley’s Global Wellbeing Board. Keren is an avid learner and lover of life and volunteers regularly in her local community’s synagogue and school.

Sydney works in human resources at Ruder Finn, an integrated communications agency. Daniel is a vice president at Hornig Capital Partners, a real estate investment & development firm, as well as finance lead for Sportime Pickleball. Sara Rudoff Olshin, A”H

Sara Rudoff Olshin’s indomitable spirit and dedication left an indelible mark on Sharsheret and the lives of countless individuals she supported. During Sharsheret’s formative years, she served as the public relations liaison, breaking barriers by bringing attention to the unique challenges faced by young Jewish women with breast cancer, at a time when the topic was rarely discussed in the Jewish media.

Sara’s commitment to Sharsheret extended far beyond its inception. She remained a steadfast volunteer, offering peer support, sharing her story on college campuses, engaging with corporate partners, and playing a crucial role in evaluating Sharsheret’s cancer support programs to ensure the utmost quality. Her empathetic nature and advocacy work provided hope and strength to many.

In addition to her volunteer work, Sara was a respected art and personal property appraiser, known for her expertise and passion in the field. She lived in Teaneck, NJ, with her husband, Ira, and their two children, Rachel and Meir. Sara’s legacy of compassion, strength, and service continues to inspire all who knew her.

Danielle is a supporter of Sharsheret Long Island and feels privileged to be able to help others navigate their own breast cancer journeys.  While Danielle is always available to coach and advise daters worldwide, her greatest achievements are her children and grandson and her supportive husband of 30 years, Avi.

Rivka Agin

Her dedication extends beyond her professional work, as she is actively involved in her community. Rivka volunteers at her synagogue, her children’s school, and various local organizations. Despite her professional and communal commitments, family is at the heart of Rivka’s life, and she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.

Rivka is profoundly grateful for the support she received from Sharsheret, an organization that has been a vital part of her journey. In turn, she volunteers for Sharsheret by speaking on webinars and serving as a peer supporter, sharing her experiences and offering guidance to others. Her strength, empathy, and generosity continue to inspire those around her, making Rivka a true asset to her community and a shining example of Sharsheret’s mission.
