Sharsheret West Coast Dash – 5K/10K/Family Fun Race/Virtual

On Sunday, September 18, 2022, Sharsheret will gather on Dockweiler Beach for our First Annual West Coast Dash in support of our breast and ovarian cancer work.

Our run/walk will include a 5K, 10K, Family Fun Race, Virtual Race, and Event Festival.

All ages, abilities and strollers welcome.

Race Start Times

5K/10K Races – 8am 

Family Fun Race – 9:15am 

Virtual Race – Choose your own adventure

Event Festival – Throughout the morning


Early Bird Tickets (Prices increase August 1):

10K Race – $50

5K Race – $40

Family Fun Race (1/2K meters for all ages) – $20

Tickets include a race t-shirt and finisher’s medal. Both races will be chip timed.

Family Fun Race

Tickets are for ages 1 and up and include a race t-shirt and medal. This race is open to people of all abilities and generations of families running or walking together. Get ready for the photo opportunity!!

Virtual Race

Join us from anywhere around the country. Tickets purchased by August 31st will receive a race t-shirt by mail.

Race Grand Marshal

Dr. Amy Kusske, Co-Director, UCLA Santa Monica Breast Center

Dr. Amy Kusske is a Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of California Los Angeles, David Geffen School of Medicine. Her surgical practice is focused on the care of patients with benign and malignant breast disease. She strongly believes in the multidisciplinary approach to breast cancer care and has helped build and lead the Santa Monica Multidisciplinary Breast Program. After completing her undergraduate degree at Stanford University, Dr. Kusske pursued her medical degree and graduated with AOA honors from the University of Southern California School of Medicine. Dr. Kusske plays an active role in the community, serving on advisory boards for non-profit organizations including Sharsheret’s Medical Advisory Board and California Community Advisory Committee. She is married to Dr. Jonathan Goldin and is the proud mom of Hannah and Sara.
