Sharsheret’s Young Professionals Circle (YPC) is a program for professional young adults between the ages of 21-39. Through YPC, men and women are empowered to raise awareness about breast cancer and ovarian cancer and become involved with a national Jewish organization that educates individuals to be proactive about their health and save lives. YPC hosts events nationwide affording young professionals an opportunity to network all within the context of exciting social events.
Sharsheret’s Young Professionals Leadership Council welcomes the next generation of emerging philanthropists who are dedicated to improving and saving the lives of women and families facing breast and ovarian cancer. Young Professionals Leadership Council members commit to annual gifts of $1800 and above and enable thousands of families locally and across the country to benefit from one-one-one support and community-wide and education training programs.
Members of the Young Professionals Leadership Council serve as ambassadors for Sharsheret by raising awareness about the increased risk of hereditary breast and ovarian cancer in our community and by educating their networks about the support services Sharsheret offers to women and families nationwide facing cancer at every stage – before, during and after diagnosis.
Young Professional Leadership Council members will be recognized throughout the year at Young Professional Circle events, on Sharsheret’s website and in Sharsheret’s annual newsletter and will also receive two tickets to all Young Professional Circle events and to Sharsheret’s annual gala in their region.
