Liora Tannenbaum, MA
Liora Tannenbaum, MA, was born and raised in the United States and made Aliyah 18 years ago after completing her Masters degree in Art Therapy from the School of Visual Arts. She has worked with various NGOs in Israel in the areas of outreach, education and emotional support, and most recently has worked with Sharsheret Pilot partner Haverut. Her journey as a BRCA1 mutation carrier has led her to be a voice for the community and the need for support. She currently lives in Raanana with her husband, four children and dog. In her role at Sharsheret, she supports women and families in Israel facing breast cancer, ovarian cancer, and hereditary risk for cancer.
