The Young Women’s Fund

Sharsheret’s Young Women’s Fund is designed to provide a grant to people

facing breast or ovarian cancer who have non-medical emergency financial needs that are a result of their diagnosis.

Sharsheret’s Young Women’s Fund has specific eligibility guidelines and other requirements. This is a ONE time grant assistance for up to $1,800 for a bill OR $1,000 towards childcare or housekeeping. The vendor will be paid directly for the bill OR you will receive a check for childcare or housekeeping.

The following will help you decide if you are eligible for participation.

 

Who Qualifies for a Subsidy?

In order to be eligible to receive a subsidy, you must:

  • Be diagnosed with breast or ovarian cancer and undergoing active treatment

  • Be able to provide a letter indicating your Jewish identity

  • Be a mother of children younger than 18 years old in your home

  • Be a current resident of the State of Florida

  • Be 45 years of age or younger
