I chose to do this Chesed project for my Bat Mitzvah Because I had a personal connection to breast cancer, my mom was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer when I was only  8.5 years old. Sharsheret sent my mom a care kit and I remember opening it with her. They sent her some makeup and skin products along with some catalogs with helpful information and I remember how happy it made her and the smile on her face. I wanted to give women that were currently going through breast cancer treatments that same feeling. So Sharsheret helped out with providing some products and informative pamphlets and we added some anti-nausea candies, a hair scarf and eye mask and the special touch was the custom bookmarks that all my friends got to write personal notes to women to give them some words of comfort. My mom sent the care kits to women that are part of a support group called the Wonder Women, it made them very happy.
