Hi! My name is Daniella Safran. I’m in 6th grade in Yeshivat Noam and I’m preparing for my Bat Mitzvah in February. In my free time, I love playing sports and hanging out with my friends. For my Bat Mitzvah project, I decided on doing two chesseds: I chose to collect toys for the Busy Box® program. I chose this as my project because many people don’t realize how hard it is for kids who don’t have a parent to look after them and give them attention. I think the Busy Box will keep them entertained and help the parents. The second chessed I chose was care kits. The reason I chose this is because whenever I’m sick, my body feels so weak and bad and I’m looking for comfort. I think what’s packed in the kits will cheer them up and make them feel good and cared for. With these two chesseds that I am doing it will help the kids of the sick parent feel happy and entertained and it will help the sick parent feel cared for and comforted.
