Mikvah Attendant Training

Sharsheret is partnering once again, with the OU Women’s Initiative to discuss how to best meet the needs of women with breast or ovarian attending the mikvah, or ritual bath. Breast cancer affects all aspects of a woman’s life, including the physical, emotional and spiritual. Mikvah attendants can greatly enhance the mikvah experience for these women, during a very difficult time, by increasing their level of understanding and preparedness. Sharsheret provides free seminars to educate mikvah attendants about the issues that impact Jewish women facing breast cancer.
