You, Your Family, and Your Jewish Cancer Genes: Everything You Need to Know

November 20, 2019 @ 8:00 pm EST

Hear from Sharsheret’s Genetics Program Coordinator, Peggy Cottrell, MS, CGC, as she discusses how genetics and hereditary breast and ovarian cancer can impact you and your family, the importance of family communication about genetics, and how to care for someone who is BRCA+. The webinar will also include important updates from the National Society of Genetic Counselors conference.
A Sharsheret peer supporter will share her personal story and a live question and answer session will follow the presentation.

Sharsheret, a national non-profit organization, improves the lives of Jewish women and families living with or at increased genetic risk for breast or ovarian cancer through personalized support and saves lives through educational outreach.
While our expertise is in young women and Jewish families as related to breast cancer and ovarian cancer, Sharsheret programs serve all women and men.
