Douglas Bank

Doug Bank was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and now resides in the Chicago suburbs. He received a BSEE from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He has worked as an electrical engineer and manager at Motorola, and is a 30+ year testicular cancer survivor. 

As a result of his experiences with cancer, he co-founded and runs the Testicular Cancer Resource Center and has worked with a variety of cancer related organizations over the years including ASCO, Cancer.net, Livestrong, and Critical Mass. He is additionally a BRCA2 carrier whose immediate and extended family has been affected by breast cancer, ovarian cancer, pancreatic cancer, thyroid cancer, melanoma and others. 

In his spare time he enjoys photography, genealogy and fluorescent minerals, and he is on the board of the Jewish Genealogical Society of Illinois and the Fluorescent Mineral Society. Doug is married to Susan and they have three grown children: Justin, Michelle and Julia.
