The Jewish Theatre Ensemble Presents, THE CLEAN HOUSE by Sarah Ruhl, produced by Carly Mazer and directed by Sophia Sinsheimer. The play opens with a young comedian, a doctor, a husband, a sister, and a soul mate walking into a house…and suddenly…words can hurt, objects have meaning, and caring is as simple as saying, “thank you for taking care of me.” The Clean House engages themes of death, humor, transformation, and caring—themes that engage us across language, culture, and spirituality.
