Daniel Gorlin

Daniel Gorlin currently resides in Chicago, IL where he works as a management consultant for the Boston Consulting Group. Daniel is a Senior Partner and Managing Director at BCG and serves as the firm’s Global Head of the Healthcare Services practice. Prior to joining BCG, Daniel worked as an investment analyst at Argus Partners, a healthcare oriented hedge fund, and in Pfizer’s International Regulatory Affairs and Federal Governmental Affairs departments.

Daniel holds a JD with honors from the Harvard Law School and an MPA from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. He also earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Columbia University where he graduated magna cum laude.

Daniel lives in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago with his wife, Ashlyn, who works for Facing History and Ourselves, and three children, Nitai, Liat, and Caleb. As a family, the Gorlins are very active both in national and local Jewish causes, sitting on various boards and doing committee work for organizations including 70 Faces Media (Past President), the Chicago Jewish Day School, Congregation Anshei Shalom Bnei Israel (ASBI) and the Gorlin Family Foundation.  Daniel is a proud alum of the Wexner Heritage Program as part of the Chicago 2017 cohort.

Daniel’s connection to Sharsheret runs long and deep. Daniel’s mother Susan, a breast cancer and ovarian cancer survivor, has been a long-standing supporter and his sister, Michal, a breast cancer survivor, is highly active in helping Sharsheret launch its Israel pilot. Daniel himself has been involved for over a decade helping plan fundraising events in Chicago and was honored at the National Sharsheret Champion Gala in 2022.
