I learned about Sharsheret last year, and when I started thinking about my Bat Mitzvah project, I decided I wanted to help people going through cancer treatment and their families. Sharsheret supports them in so many ways. I hope to use my Bat Mitzvah to raise money for Sharsheret and help restock the makeup items in their Best Face Forward kits for women going through treatment.
I have been dancing since I was little, and as a member of a dance team, I wear makeup for performances. It’s fun and creative. I want to give women going through cancer treatment something fun and uplifting during a hard time.
