Sharsheret’s Men’s Leadership Council is a dedicated group of men who feel a deep personal connection to Sharsheret through their roles as caregivers, advocates, or trusted partners in our mission. Council members share a commitment to strengthening how Sharsheret engages and supports men, either as individuals impacted by cancer risk or as caregivers to loved ones facing breast and ovarian cancer.
The Men’s Leadership Council is part of Sharsheret’s broader initiative to save lives by increasing awareness and understanding of cancer genetics and its implications for men’s health. Through education, connection, and advocacy, the Council helps ensure that men have access to meaningful information, supportive resources, and a community that recognizes their unique experiences and needs.
Working in partnership with Sharsheret staff, the Council members help share male-focused health and genetics resources and help publicize thoughtful panel discussions and webinars. Together, this work expands Sharsheret’s reach, deepens impact, and strengthens support for families navigating cancer.
Sharsheret’s Men’s Leadership Council members are active members in Sharsheret’s Jewel Circle, annually supporting Sharsheret with gifts beginning at the $5,000 level. The Men’s Leadership Council plays a vital role in advancing Sharsheret’s mission, amplifying Sharsheret’s message, and helping more individuals and families feel seen, supported, and empowered.
