Jordyn Spitz

My name is Jordyn Spitz and my mom is a breast cancer survivor. I learned about Sharsheret recently from my temple in Skokie, IL as part of our Pink and Teal Shabbat service. I wish I knew about this organization when my mom was diagnosed. From what I’ve learned since, I chose this project because I want to pay it forward to other kids who are dealing with similar feelings and circumstances that I once had.
I’m a 7th grader at my junior high in Lincolnwood, IL. I’m a pitcher on my travel softball team, I play viola in the school orchestra, I sing in the choir, and I love musical theater.
“We are proud that Jordyn is reflective and motivated to help other children cope and stay positive during this tough stage in their life. We are very supportive in her mission to raise funds for a cause that she experienced first-hand.”
